Bio

Life is made up of our experiences and making sense of your story or making a change can feel intimidating. My hope is to walk alongside you, listen curiously, and together figure out how counseling can help – whether that be cultivating self-compassion, addressing depression and anxiety symptoms, or processing grief. I believe healing happens through the connection we make and I would love to join you on your unique journey. Collaborating to build a trusting space is the foundation of my work, one where you feel safe to non-judgmentally explore your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and beliefs. I utilize a relational and psychodynamic approach to counseling, which allows us to reflect on your past experiences and be curious about how they may impact your present.

I am trained to work with individuals, couples, and specialize in addiction counseling. I utilize a variety of interventions such as motivational interviewing, Internal Family Systems parts work, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to encourage self reflection and develop skills that strengthen your capacity for emotion regulation, mindfulness, and joy.

Fun Fact: I love silly jokes, puns, and idioms!
