Bio
I believe that each of us has a natural impulse toward growth, healing, and connection—with ourselves, others, and the world around us. However, life experiences, cultural backgrounds, and relationships shape the narratives we tell ourselves and the patterns we follow. While these can serve as strengths, they can also create barriers that make it difficult to navigate change or healing on our own.
Therapy provides a space to slow down, reflect, and gain clarity. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore the emotions, experiences, and challenges that are shaping their lives. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from modalities that honor the mind-body connection, personal narratives, and the ways we are shaped by relationships and environments. I am in the process of training in EMDR, an evidence-based approach that aids in the resolution of traumatic memories and deeply ingrained emotional patterns. Together, we will explore creative and individualized ways to help you move toward healing and greater alignment with yourself.
I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and a committed BIPOC ally. My work is deeply rooted in social justice, advocacy, and an understanding of the ways systemic oppression impacts mental health. I also have significant multicultural and international experience, which informs my perspective and ability to hold space for diverse experiences.
