Bio
Relationships can be deeply fulfilling – and also incredibly challenging. Whether you’re struggling with relationship conflict, anger management, or miscommunication, I provide a space for exploration, growth, and meaningful change. My expertise lies in helping individuals and couples break harmful cycles, improve communication, and strengthen connections.
I bring specialized training in anger management and behavior intervention, working with both heterosexual and queer couples where conflict and emotional regulation are key concerns. Many of my clients are navigating relationship stress, miscommunication, or struggling with accountability in their interactions. I also support queer individuals in exploring their gender identity, sexuality, relational structures, and the impact of oppression on their well-being.
I believe that change is facilitated through deepened awareness of the beliefs, emotions, and cultural influences that shape us. This informed self-awareness combined with compassionate accountability, provides the foundation for growth.
By approaching every client with radical compassion and honoring their unique lived experiences, I can begin to gently confront harmful behavioral patterns. This process opens the door to tackle difficult emotions and the defense mechanisms that keep a person stuck.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with an awareness of power dynamics and systems.
Fun Fact: I’m a “shutterbug” — a photography nerd. I studied film photography in undergrad and have collected at least 50 different types of cameras.
