Bio
Hi, I’m Jenny. I offer a safe, caring and nonjudgmental space to explore and work toward meeting the goals that are bringing you here. Sometimes therapy is short-term, intended to address a specific situation or stressor; other times, therapy takes the “scenic route”—perhaps processing many parts of your unique life story. Whether brief or longer-term, I am delighted and honored to collaborate with you on your personal therapeutic journey.
Because of my experience with lifelong disability and with grief and loss, I am committed to working with individuals who are struggling with sadness and loneliness, who sometimes feel like “an outsider.” I believe that life transitions of all kinds are tremendous opportunities for growth, and together we will help you develop effective tools to navigate both wanted and unwanted change.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years in private practice. I work with adults of all ages and strongly value personal empowerment, agency, and inclusion. I take an integrated approach drawing from psychodynamic, systems, and attachment theories within a person-centered, trauma informed framework.
Fun Fact: I used to be a part of a singing group with my family called The Singing Watters.
