Bio
You may carry persistent worry, shame, or perfectionism, find yourself falling into cycles of avoidance, or feel stuck in a painful relationship with food and your body that leaves you questioning your worth. You may be your own harshest critic, unsure of who you are outside of the expectations you carry. Drawing on ACT and DBT, I’ll help you understand how these patterns took shape, build skills to interrupt them, and develop confidence in your ability to tolerate difficult thoughts and feelings rather than needing to escape them.
I believe therapy is about more than finding solutions. It’s about cultivating a meaningful relationship that makes room for honesty, thoughtful reflection, and the healing that becomes possible when you finally feel safe and understood.
My style is warm and compassionate, centered on helping you reconnect to your inner strength. I’ll offer structure and skills when they’re useful, but I’ll always lean on your wisdom and values to create a plan that feels true to you. I bring specialized training in eating disorders and work with people in all bodies to nurture affirming relationships with food and self. I also support you in navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
I’m a full human in the room with you. You can expect me to walk alongside you every step of the way and bring my true self into our work. I balance professionalism with genuineness and bring plenty of humor and real talk when needed.
