Bio
In working together, my goal is to create an environment in which you feel free and safe to explore your own psychological landscape- your fears, desires, dreams, beliefs, etc, and in so doing, develop a greater understanding of yourself. I can assist you in identifying any behavior patterns that no longer serve you and collaborate with you on strategies for change.
I welcome a wide variety of clients, though my specialty lies in adult ADHD and issues commonly associated with it, which might involve: guilt and shame, self-doubt, codependency, addiction, rejection sensitivity, avoidance, emotional dysregulation, people-pleasing, etc. I also enjoy working with those with PTSD and trauma presentations of all kinds.
I practice psychodynamic therapy, drawing from IFS, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based practices. I am supervised by Kathy Reicker, director of the Oregon Psychoanalytic Institute.
Fun Fact: I am half Greek and half Danish. Many of my summers growing up were spent visiting family in Greece and Denmark.
